This course meets all requirements for California Dispute Resolution Programs Act (DRPA) Mediator certification. In California, mediators are not subject to state licensure, and requirements can vary depending on the court or mediation program. For programs funded through the Dispute Resolution Programs Act (DRPA), mediators are typically required to complete at least 30 hours of mediation training that combines instructional learning with hands-on practice. Because qualifications differ by organization, applicants should verify the current standards and eligibility criteria of the specific program or panel they are seeking to join.
